Eleanor Quist

Eleanor runs the standards desk, which every story passes through before publication. Every number, date, name and quotation is checked against its source, and anything that cannot be traced is removed or rewritten as background. She also handles corrections. Readers who spot an error write to her, and she thanks them, because a clean record is a gift to every host who relies on the paper.
